Introduction: Introducing the long awaited Treadstone EFR turbo kit for the FRS/BRZ. Years in the making perfecting the design, and perfecting the tune. The Treadstone EFR kit for the FRS/BRZ gives you the best in product combinations, installation, fitment, and function! The Turbocharger:Utilizing Borg Warner’s latest release, the EFR(engineered for Race) series turbocharger, the EFR utilizes advanced engineering, giving you the latest in turbocharger technology.. The EFR Turbocharger from Borg Warner is an excellent turbocharger for autocross, rally, drift, road racing and street driven applications. These turbochargers have a few key attributes such as Gamma Ti turbine wheels, dual ceramic ball bearing cartridges and investment cast stainless steel turbine housings. Collectively, those features help give the EFR line its innovative appeal and will provide a breakthrough experience in durability, device responsiveness and installer/user satisfaction.

Turbo Options

6258 EFR:

Compressor; 62mm Exducer, 49.6 mm Inducer, 44lb/min max flow rate. Perfect Introductory turbo for mild street cars, wanting insane spool up, with that seat of the pants feel!

6758 EFR:

Compressor; 67mm Exducer, 53.9mm Inducer, 49lb/min max flow rate. The best of both worlds, spool up and Horsepower. Great turbo for those wanting to eventually run Race Gas or E85 in the future, that see both street and race applications, your weekend warrior!

7163 EFR:

Compressor; 71mm Exducer, 57.0mm Inducer, 60lb/min max flow rate. Push it to the max! Great racing turbo for those wanting to push the FA20 engine to its limits.

Boost Control:

With every kit, included is an electronic boost control solenoid to actuate the internal wastage actuator. This wastegate duty cycle is regulated and controlled by the ECUtek tune. We can adjust this setting to your liking. The kit will come standard with 14psi base setting

The Tune:

Our ECU re-flash by ECUTEK utilizes a Omni power 4 bar sensor for increase tun-ability and power. During part throttle and normal driving conditions the ECU uses the MAF (mass air flow) sensor, while full throttle and and above a specific RPM uses the MAP(manifold atmospheric pressure). We switch back and forth between MAP and MAF for an all around performance tune while still maintaining that stock drive-ability. The Omni power 4 Bar MAP sensor lets us fine tune high RPM high power situations for engine safety while still having a conservative tune.


The ECU Re-Flash:

Tuning an ECU is one of the most critical steps of any turbocharging application. A poor or improper tune can result in reduced performance or serious engine damage. Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ owners can now take advantage of Treadstone’s expertise in ECU tuning with the EcuTeK tuning system. With our tune, your car will idle like stock, part throttle driving and around town like stock, and the transition to all out performance is smooth and seamless! . EcuTeK’s tuning suite allows us to alter ECU parameters to maximize all-out performance and reliability all while giving you the ability to revert back to stock any time you want.

The Intercooler:

Our most popular intercooler to date, the 500hp efficient TR8! Efficiency up to 90%, perfect size for this turbo kit application. Core size 24��� x 7.9��� x 3.5��� Treadstone quality cast end tanks ensure evenly distributed airflow and low-pressure drop. Our intercoolers are pressure checked to 150psi and come with a 1-year warranty against manufacture defect.

The Manifold/Downpipe:

Constructed from schedule 10 304 stainless weld els and built to last. 3 year warranty against cracking. Larger 3��� 304 Stainless downpipe, with extra O2 bung for wideband standard. 3��� overpipe is available, but not included in kit. Manifold is constructed with a 2 piece design for ease of fitment and installation. This will allow us to run an external wastegate combo set up, or even a T3 flange for larger turbos, and drag race applications. Email for more info.

The Piping:

6061 mandrel bent aluminum and powder coated wrinkle black finish for the stealthy look. Includes heavy duty T-bolt clamps and our 3 ply silicone couplers.


Braided lightweight oil lines and waterlines utilizing reusable AN fittings for easy installation. Oil pan comes pre welded, no tapping needed. All nuts bolts gaskets are included. Core exchange on the oil pan is $80. If you send us your oil pan, we will refund $80!

Heat Protection:

DEI heat shield and heat wrap are included in every kit! DEI T25 / T28 Titanium Turbo Shield with LR Technology. ��TRE265 Treadstone Compact 65mm 265lph In-tank Fuel Pump. Drop in fitment for many applications. Flows up to 265lph, able to support approx 500hp, and is E85 Compatible! The Treadstone 265lph series 65mm long body pumps are an in-tank electric fuel pump that fit a wide variety of applications and bolts right in to existing fuel pump hanger assemblies.(no modification necessary)At 40psi of fuel pressure, the pump is able to deliver 265 liters of gas per hour. No fitment kit is needed for this pump as it is a basic drop in pump for the specific applications listed below. ��
